What is the new FAB Club?
It is a new group that Pembrokeshire People First is starting in Milford Haven in January 2017 with money from the People’s Health Trust. FAB stands for: ‘Fun Activity Befriending’.
Where and when is it happening?
In Milford Haven library every Wednesday from 11am until 1pm.
What happens in the FAB Club?
Creative sessions including music, singing, dance, drama and art. The people who come along will decide what activities they like the most. We’ll also be playing a few games! And having a tea break! At the beginning and end of the sessions we will have a group circle so that every one can say how they are feeling.
Who can come to FAB Club?
Anyone who has a learning disability and/or autism is welcome to come along. The group is in Milford Haven because we want to get more people from this area involved, but you don’t have to live in Milford to be able to come.
What is the point of this group?
We hope everybody will learn how to do some fun things that they might not have done before, or don’t get to do as often as they would like, such as singing, dancing and making art and drama. We also hope that people can find new friends and have somewhere fun, safe, and supportive to meet up regularly.
